The Count Down to New Years Eve!

The dress, the make up, the shoes, the hair… It feels like some one is getting married but believe me, it’s only New Years Eve. I mean it’s no big deal right; it’s only a day that happens to come around once a year so why give it so much attention.

But this year is different, I’m saying good bye to 2008 – and technically 2008 wasn’t bad at all, as a matter of fact the last two months has made all the misery of 2008 go away.

Only difference is New Years Eve has a huge impact on the start of 2009 and the ending of 2008. It’s either official or it’s not. Am I going out with him as his girlfriend?! Or am I putting aside all the stress and just going out as friends?! Oh please as if being friends would let me put aside all stress; it will probably complicate things more than I anticipate.

So again, the dress, sexy red or classic black, the heels, ridiculously high or ballerina pumps!? The hair… should I put it down in curls or straight?! Should I wave it or put it up in a Spanish bun at the nape of my neck. And damn the make up, simple and chic in nude colors, or a black and grey Smokey eyes effect for dramatic eyes. I don’t even want to get started with accessories.

Damn it, I feel like a bimbo or a teenage girl… I never looked twice at my wardrobe when it came to going out, let alone bother to go shopping for “the perfect” outfit. But then again, I’m enjoying the feeling of butterflies flipping around in my stomach, impatiently waiting for New Years Eve, and the count down…. Starts NOW!
